What we collect
Mobile number (login), name, city, optional photo, date of birth (age-group awards only, never shown publicly), playing details, the matches you score or play in, posts and messages you send, and basic device/log data for security.
Why
To run your account, build your cricket stats, show live scores, run tournaments and bookings, keep the platform safe (fraud and abuse checks), and - only with your consent - show local sponsors.
Your choices
- Settings โ Privacy: choose who sees your stats, phone and city.
- Settings โ Your data: download everything we hold about you (JSON).
- Settings โ Delete account: removes your personal data. Scorecards keep the name shown in those matches.
- Personalised ads: asked before any city targeting; you can change it any time.
Children
Players under 18 should use CricKaro with a parent or guardian. We do not show minors' dates of birth or phone numbers publicly and do not target ads at them.
Sharing
Phone numbers are shared only when you accept a request (Looking, bookings). We do not sell personal data. Service providers (hosting, SMS) process data only on our instructions.
Security & retention
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest by our database provider. Login codes are stored hashed. Logs are kept for up to 1 year; deleted accounts are anonymised immediately.
